Dennis Anderson, Senior Saxophone Music Education Recital*
|When/Where||Sunday, Nov 15, 2020 2:00pm||Virtual Event|
Please come and enjoy the finest work of Dennis Anderson in his senior saxophone music education recital, featuring:
Introductions and Variations on Carnival of Venice by Jules Demersseman,
In Memory by Quinn Mason,
Tableaux de Provence (All Movements) by Paule Maurice.
This recital will showcase very different styles of music for the solo saxophone genre. It will open with movements 1-5 of "Tableaux de Provence" which outlines the unique scenery of Provence France. This will be followed by the first saxophone performance of African American Composer Quinn Mason's "In Memory." It will conclude with the technical spectacle that is Demersseman's "Introductions and Variations on Carnival of Venice" where it borders how many notes should legally be allowed to fit on a page.
This will be a virtual only event, so there will be no audience. Thank you for your understanding.
