The Dewberry Faculty Artist Series showcases the talents of our School of Music professional faculty. The series is presented every Spring semester.

This faculty recital is inspired by the glorious evocations of The Fifth Door ("A cincea usa" in Romanian) in Bela Bartok's opera Bluebeard. Dewberry School of Music faculty member David Porter (tuba) presents various lyrical music that reflects his experience hearing The Fifth Door, which will also be featured on an upcoming CD he will soon be recording.
