Faculty Artist Series: Music Across Borders with Laura Kaufman Mowry (flute)*

1
The Dewberry Faculty Artist Series showcases the talents of our School of Music professional faculty. The series is presented every Spring semester.
Join us for an evening of music from across cultures and traditions, highlighting the flute’s remarkable ability to tell stories through dance, song, and reflection. Spanning French impressionism, Argentine tango, Eastern European folk influences, and contemporary global voices, the program celebrates connection through sound. Together, these works invite listeners on a journey that crosses borders while honoring the shared human experience. Performers in this recital include Dewberry School of Music faculty Laura Kaufman Mowry (flute), Matthew Trkula (guitar), Jennifer Cabot (voice), and guest performer Bora Lee (piano).
