The recital will explore some jazz compositions written as a response to the Dr. Martin Luther King Assassination. This recital will explore how these pieces reflect how these musicians used their music to process this trauma artistically. Paul Bratcher presents their Doctoral Lecture Recital in Jazz Piano.
